Speaking at the latest Amway Distributor Rally, New Double Diamond Direct Distributors Tsui Kit and Charis shared with the audience how they have found freedom and precious family time through developing the Amway business. They hoped that by sharing their story, they could encourage more people to follow their dreams.

From Passive to Passionate

Tsui Kit is a native Hongkonger who, after being accepted into medical school at the University of Hong Kong, has spent 18 years helping those in need with a compassionate heart. His connection with Amway goes back to his parents. “My parents joined Amway when I was young, and I initially thought I’d have nothing to do with the business. However, my mother later mentioned that this was a business that could be passed down to the next generation."

Attracted by this idea, Tsui Kit delved deeply into studying Amway and discovered it was a business that could provide him with a passive income while he continued to work as a doctor. He decided to join the Amway business, becoming a second-generation member to provide his family with greater security.

A Reassuring Business

During the pandemic that swept across the world, the Amway business played a significant role in securing the couple’s livelihood. "A doctor’s living depends on the number of patients visiting the clinic. During the pandemic, people took extra precautions, which meant that fewer patients came to see me – and that in turn affected my income," Tsui Kit said.

Fortunately, their Amway business already had a solid foundation, providing a reliable additional income stream. "I am grateful for the supplementary income from Amway during the pandemic, which allowed my family's life to remain unaffected and gave us invaluable peace of mind."

Stay True to Yourself

The couple believes that "staying true to their original aspiration" is essential for the success of their business, and as leaders it is something they encourage in their team. "We can achieve different goals in our lives, but in reality there will always be many obstacles. When facing challenges, we must not forget our original aspirations to stay on course."

As they help others succeed, they have gained more freedom regarding how they use their time, meaning they can enjoy more time with their children as they grow. And Tsui Kit can even work more on his own terms now. "I can choose not to charge those patients who are in need, and I don't have to increase my consultation fee every year just to make a living,” he explained.

For Tsui Kit and Charis, the Amway business has brought true freedom and given them the confidence to achieve their ideal life.
